The Beachcombers met up with Monroe Wright and the Wright Choice at a special Timberwolves promotion in front of the popular Jukebox Saturday Night club on 5th Street in downtown Minneapolis. Monroe, Bill, and Guy had a great act with terrific vocals, authentic Motown style, and first class choreography.
The two groups collaborated on a special theme show called "Motown Magic", performing on New Years Eve at the Grand Casino Mille Lacs, a 4th of July celebration in Eden Prairie, Grand Old Day in St. Paul, a celebrity fundraiser for Metro Cable TV 6 at the Metropolitan, and numerous corporate parties and special events.
The addition of the "Motown Magic!" show to the Beachcombers entertainment line-up reaffirmed their growing reputation as the most creative and versatile show group in the Midwest. | | | |
